Abstract

Beton merupakan material struktur utama dalam konstruksi, dengan agregat sebagai komponen terbesar penyusunnya. Keterbatasan agregat alam mendorong pemanfaatan material lokal, salah satunya batu kapur Sampang, Madura. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh batu kapur sebagai substitusi agregat terhadap kuat tekan beton. Batu kapur digunakan sebagai pengganti agregat kasar sebesar 50% dan substitusi agregat halus sebesar 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, dan 20%. Beton dirancang dengan mutu rencana f’c 25 MPa dan diuji pada umur 7, 14, dan 28 hari.Hasil pengujian menunjukkan peningkatan kuat tekan hingga variasi 10% pada seluruh umur beton, kemudian menurun pada variasi yang lebih tinggi. Pada umur 28 hari, kuat tekan tertinggi diperoleh pada variasi 10% sebesar 18,77 MPa, sedangkan campuran tanpa substitusi hanya mencapai 14,34 MPa. Penurunan kuat tekan pada variasi 15% dan 20% disebabkan oleh meningkatnya porositas dan daya serap batu kapur. Meskipun batu kapur dapat meningkatkan kuat tekan pada kadar tertentu, mutu rencana 25 MPa tidak tercapai. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan batu kapur paling optimal pada variasi 10%, dengan perlunya pengendalian rasio air-semen yang lebih ketat.
