Abstract

Permintaan terhadap material bangunan yang efisien dan ramah lingkungan mendorong inovasi bata beton interlock. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh variasi bentuk geometris tipe segitiga dan lego terhadap kekuatan tekan, daya serap air, dan tingkat mutu. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain komparatif. Proses pembuatan meliputi desain cetakan, pencampuran bahan (semen, pasir, air), pencetakan, curing, serta pengujian laboratorium menggunakan mesin uji tekan dan alat uji daya serap air sesuai standar nasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kuat tekan bata segitiga sebesar 47,26 kg/cm² dan bata lego 51,68 kg/cm². Daya serap air bata segitiga mencapai 12,34%, sedangkan bata lego 11,08%. Perbedaan ini dipengaruhi oleh geometri dan karakteristik cetakan, di mana lekukan dan sambungan interlock berpotensi membentuk rongga mikro saat pencetakan. Berdasarkan klasifikasi mutu bata beton, bata interlock segitiga termasuk mutu III, sedangkan bata lego mutu II. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa bentuk geometris berperan penting dalam menentukan performa struktural dan ketahanan lingkungan bata beton interlock, sehingga dapat menjadi acuan dalam pengembangan desain modular bangunan masa depan.
