Abstract

Perkembangan kebutuhan produksi pada CV. Berdikari menuntut perusahaan untuk memiliki kapasitas kerja yang optimal agar mampu memenuhi permintaan pasar. Namun, berdasarkan kondisi aktual, diketahui bahwa perusahaan masih mengalami tingginya beban kerja dan jam lembur pada bagian produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat aktivitas kerja pekerja, mengukur beban kerja, menentukan kebutuhan tenaga kerja optimal, serta mengevaluasi alternatif solusi berupa penambahan tenaga kerja atau penambahan jam lembur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah work sampling, yaitu teknik pengamatan acak terhadap aktivitas operator untuk menentukan proporsi waktu produktif, tidak langsung, dan tidak produktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat aktivitas produktif operator berada pada kategori tinggi, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa operator telah bekerja secara efisien. Namun, total jam lembur Januari–Juni 2025 mencapai 2.339 jam, atau rata-rata 389,83 jam per bulan, yang mengindikasikan bahwa kapasitas tenaga kerja reguler belum mencukupi kebutuhan produksi. Berdasarkan perhitungan waktu kerja dan standar waktu baku, kebutuhan tenaga kerja yang dibutuhkan adalah 3,36 orang, yang kemudian dibulatkan menjadi 4 orang secara operasional. Selanjutnya, analisis biaya membandingkan beberapa alternatif kebijakan. Penambahan tiga pekerja baru membutuhkan biaya sebesar Rp 9.360.000 per bulan, sementara penggunaan lembur 4 jam per hari menghasilkan biaya Rp 1.560.000 per bulan, yang merupakan opsi paling ekonomis. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa lembur terbatas lebih efisien untuk jangka pendek, sedangkan penambahan tenaga kerja lebih disarankan untuk jangka panjang guna menjaga kesehatan kerja, kualitas produksi, dan kesinambungan operasional.
