Abstract

Genangan banjir di kawasan Jalan Setro Tengah, Surabaya, kerap terjadi saat musim hujan akibat kapasitas saluran drainase yang tidak memadai, sedimentasi, penyempitan saluran, serta tingginya intensitas curah hujan. Kondisi ini menyebabkan limpasan air tidak dapat mengalir dengan optimal sehingga menimbulkan genangan di beberapa titik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kondisi kapasitas saluran drainase eksisting, menganalisis penyebab terjadinya genangan, serta merumuskan alternatif penanganan genangan menggunakan aplikasi EPA SWMM 5.2. Metode penelitian meliputi pengumpulan data curah hujan, menghitung curah hujan dengan metode aritmatik, menghitung parameter dasar statistika, distribusi probabilitas dengan metode log person type III, uji kesesuain data, waktu kosentrasi (tc), intensitas curah hujan, koefisien aliran, dan menghitung debit banjir rencana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil analisis eksiting saluran untuk persegi panjang terdapat 6 saluran yang terlihat adanya banjir pada node J11, J13, J15, dan J21 sementara pada node lainnya tidak ada luapan. Kondisi ini menandakan perlunya penanganan lebih lanjut pada titik-titik tersebut, baik melalui perbaikan dimensi, normalisasi, atau peningkatan kapasitas saluran. Sementara itu, saluran di node lainnya terbukti masih efektif dalam mengalirkan debit limpasan sehingga mampu meminimalkan risiko genangan. Dengan melakukan evaluasi, kita jadi tahu bagian saluran mana yang harus segera diperbaiki atau diperbesar agar bisa mengatasi genangan dan mencegah banjir. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan saluran serta estimasi kebutuhan anggaran sebagai upaya mitigasi genangan banjir.
