Abstract

PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak di bidang produksi isolator listrik tegangan tinggi, termasuk Lightning Arrester. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah tingginya tingkat cacat produk Lightning Arrester sebesar 4,6, yang melebihi ambang toleransi maksimal perusahaan sebesar 2. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menurunkan tingkat kecacatan produk melalui pendekatan PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) yang terstruktur dan berkelanjutan. Data diperoleh melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara dengan personel terkait, serta analisis dokumen historis produksi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa jenis cacat paling dominan berasal dari proses injection, khususnya kategori “tidak matang�. Penerapan metode PDCA yang didukung oleh analisis fishbone dan 5W+1H berhasil merumuskan tindakan perbaikan yang efektif. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan penurunan signifikan dalam persentase produk cacat. Dengan demikian, pendekatan ini berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kualitas produk, efisiensi operasional, serta kepuasan pelanggan.
