Abstract

Proses fabrikasi tangki penyimpanan memiliki peran penting dalam menjamin kualitas dan keamanan produk, namun berbagai potensi kegagalan masih sering terjadi dan dapat menurunkan mutu produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab kegagalan serta menganalisis tingkat risikonya pada proses fabrikasi tangki penyimpanan menggunakan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Penilaian dilakukan berdasarkan parameter severity, occurrence, dan detection untuk menghasilkan nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN) sebagai dasar penentuan prioritas perbaikan. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi 19 faktor penyebab kegagalan pada tahapan marking, cutting, beveling, dan rolling dengan tingkat risiko yang berbeda. Analisis menggunakan metode FMEA menunjukkan bahwa nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN) berkisar antara 27 hingga 105, dengan nilai tertinggi berada pada faktor B5 pada proses cutting sebesar 105. Faktor ini menjadi prioritas utama dalam mitigasi karena berpotensi menimbulkan ketidaksesuaian dimensi pada hasil fabrikasi. Untuk mengurangi risiko tersebut, diterapkan strategi penghindaran risiko melalui pemeriksaan ganda (double check) oleh operator dan QC pada setiap hasil pemotongan guna memastikan kesesuaian ukuran dengan standar. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan mengenai pentingnya pengembangan metode analisis risiko yang lebih mendalam sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses produksi dan memperkuat pengendalian risiko di sektor industri manufaktur.
