Abstract

Manajemen aset dan inventaris merupakan bagian penting dalam operasional perkantoran, terutama bagi organisasi seperti PABI (Persatuan Dokter Spesialis Bedah Umum Indonesia). Pengelolaan aset yang tepat dapat mempengaruhi efisiensi dan produktivitas organisasi. Dalam konteks ini, pengelolaan barang inventaris yang akurat dan tepat waktu menjadi faktor penting untuk mendukung kinerja organisasi, termasuk dalam penggantian barang yang sudah tidak layak pakai atau habis masa pakainya. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, kebutuhan akan sistem yang terintegrasi dan berbasis web menjadi semakin mendesak. Sistem berbasis web menawarkan fleksibilitas, aksesibilitas, dan kemudahan pengelolaan data yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan metode manual atau sistem berbasis desktop. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan sistem manajemen aset berbasis website di PABI dengan metode Weighted Product bertujuan untuk efektifitas manajemen aset dan mempercepat proses pengambilan keputusan terkait penggantian barang inventaris. Penggunaan metode Weighted Product dalam penentuan prioritas penggantian barang menjadi relevan karena metode ini dapat memberikan perhitungan objektif berdasarkan berbagai kriteria yang mempengaruhi, meliputi, kritikalitas, efektivitas pemakaian, frekuensi pemakaian dan penyusutan. Metode ini membantu organisasi memaksimalkan penggunaan anggaran, sehingga investasi pada aset baru dilakukan secara bijak dan tepat sasaran. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah membangun sistem manajemen aset yang efektif dan efesien serta mempercepat proses pengambilan keputusan terkait penggantian barang inventaris.
