Abstract

The influence of investment in human resources, infrastructure investment, and good governance on economic development performance in Bojonegoro Regency. Apart from that, this research also analyzes the role of cost effectiveness and efficiency as intervening variabels that mediate the relationship between these factors. The research results show that investment in human resources, infrastructure investment, and good governance have a significant positive influence on economic development performance in Bojonegoro Regency. In addition, cost effectiveness and efficiency have also been shown to play an important role as mediators in the relationship between these factors and economic development performance. This can be seen from the analysis results which show that the human resource investment coefficient value for intervening variabel 1 or budget effectiveness is 1.15603. Meanwhile, the coefficient value of human resource investment on intervening variabel 2 or efficiency is -2.416847, indicating that human resource investment has not had an effect on cost effectiveness and efficiency. For the coefficient value of human resource investment on economic performance, there is a significant influence seen from the coefficient value of 5534.036. When viewed from the level of effectiveness and cost efficiency, infrastructure investment has an insignificant relationship. This can be seen from the coefficient level of 0.007683 and also -.022031. and for the relationship to variabel Y, there is a dominant relationship with a value of 29.58628The implication of these findings is that the government and stakeholders in Bojonegoro Regency need to pay attention to the importance of investment in human resources, infrastructure and good governance as a strategy to improve economic development performance. Apart from that, they must also pay attention to cost effectiveness and efficiency as important factors that can strengthen the positive impact of the investment
