Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat telah mengubah berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia, termasuk dalam sistem manajemen kehadiran. Teknologi kamera dengan pengenalan wajah menjadi salah satu inovasi terbaru yang memungkinkan pencatatan absensi secara otomatis, cepat, dan akurat. Teknologi ini memanfaatkan analisis biometrik untuk mengenali wajah individu dan mencatat waktu kehadiran secara efisien. Namun, tantangan seperti privasi data dan pengelolaan informasi sensitif menjadi perhatian utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan prototipe sistem absensi praktikum berbasis pengenalan wajah yang dilengkapi dengan fitur Interaktif Voice Response (IVR). Sistem ini dirancang menggunakan kamera webcam untuk mendeteksi wajah berdasarkan data yang tersimpan dalam database, mencatat kehadiran jika wajah dikenali, dan memberikan peringatan jika wajah tidak ditemukan. Prototipe ini diimplementasikan dengan perangkat keras seperti Raspberry Pi dan menggunakan database MySQL untuk penyimpanan data.Penelitian dibatasi pada penggunaan 30 sampel wajah dan pengambilan data masing-masing 50 kali untuk memastikan akurasi sistem. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi praktis dan efektif untuk mengurangi kesalahan dalam pencatatan kehadiran manual, sekaligus menawarkan integrasi teknologi modern yang relevan dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia.
