Abstract

Advancements in information technology have significantly impacted the field of education, including tax education. This study aims to develop a tax education information system designed to facilitate understanding of the new tax administration system, known as Coretax. The primary issue addressed is low tax compliance resulting from a lack of understanding and information regarding this new system. The study employs the prototyping method, enabling iterative system development based on user feedback. The research stages include a literature review, user requirement identification, system design, implementation, and testing and evaluation. The study concludes that a Coretax 2024-based tax education information system was successfully developed using the prototyping method; this system helps the general public understand the new Coretax administration system by allowing users to engage in self-directed learning and complete quizzes or assignments within the platform.
