Abstract

Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Kabupaten Sidoarjo menjadi perhatian pemerintah untuk mewujudkan masyarakat yang Sejahtera. Hal ini menyebebabkan perlu dilakukan analisis akan faktor-faktor yang memepengaruhi Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kondisi infrastruktur dan pendidikan di Kabupaten Sidoarjo, menganalisis perkembangan pembangunan ekonomi di Kabupaten Sidoarjo dan menganalisis pengaruh infrastruktur dan pendidikan terhadap pembangunan ekonomi di Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian menggunakan data sekunder mengenai data infrastruktur, pendidikan dan pembangunan ekonomi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui metode dokumentasi dan dianalisis melalui analisis regresi linier berganda SPSS. Hasil penelitian membuktikan kondisi Infrastruktur di Kabupaten Sidoarjo mengalami perkembangan secara signifikan yang terbukti tidak adanya rumah tangga yang tidak memiliki infrastruktur listrik untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup serta faktor Pendidikan yang mengalami perkembangan dimana semakin banyak masyarakat yang melakukan sekolah hingga jenjang lebih tinggi. Kemudian Perkembangan pembangunan Ekonomi di Kabupaten Sidoarjo mengalami peningkatan setiap tahun yang dapat dibuktikan dari nilai Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB). Secara simultan, variabel Infrastruktur dan Pendidikan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Sedangkan secara parsial, Variabel infrastruktur memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi serta variabel Pendidikan memiliki pengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan secara statistik terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi.
