Abstract
Regional specialties are an important part of cultural heritage that need to be widely introduced. Tegal City has a variety of unique traditional culinary delights, but they are still less well-known to people outside the region, especially in Surabaya. This study aims to develop interactive and easily accessible media for introducing Tegal's traditional foods based on Augmented Reality (AR) technology. The system was built using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method and developed in the form of a web system that utilizes markers to display 3D objects of Tegal's traditional foods, with models created using Blender. Test results showed that before using the website, most respondents were unfamiliar with Tegal's traditional foods. However, after using it, all respondents stated they gained new information, with 100% stating they were more familiar with Tegal's traditional foods through this system. In addition, the System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 77.08 indicates that this system is considered quite good and worthy of use as a medium for introducing regional culinary delights effectively and attractively.
