Abstract

Pembangunan infrastruktur jalan merupakan faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan konektivitas antarwilayah, mempercepat distribusi barang dan jasa, serta mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah. Di Kabupaten Berau, Kalimantan Timur, proyek lanjutan pembangunan Jalan Tubaan – Semurut yang didanai melalui APBD-P menjadi salah satu upaya strategis pemerintah daerah untuk memperbaiki aksesibilitas dan mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan potensi wilayah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan efisiensi waktu dan biaya antara dua metode pelaksanaan konstruksi, yaitu precast (pra�cetak) dan cast in situ (cor di tempat) pada proyek tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara, serta analisis dokumen teknis proyek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode precast lebih unggul dari sisi waktu, sedangkan metode cast in situ lebih hemat dari sisi biaya langsung. Total biaya pelaksanaan dengan metode precast mencapai Rp 429.225.224 dengan waktu pelaksanaan 17 hari, sedangkan metode cast in situ membutuhkan biaya sebesar Rp 367.038.549 dan waktu pelaksanaan 37 hari. Dengan demikian, metode precast memberikan penghematan waktu sebesar 20 hari, namun dengan selisih biaya yang lebih tinggi sebesar Rp 62.186.675 dibandingkan cast in situ. Berdasarkan temuan ini, metode precast direkomendasikan untuk digunakan pada proyek-proyek pembangunan infrastruktur di wilayah terpencil atau yang memiliki batasan waktu pelaksanaan yang ketat, karena keunggulannya dalam efisiensi waktu dan kemudahan pelaksanaan. Namun, dalam kondisi tertentu yang lebih sensitif terhadap anggaran biaya, metode cast in situ tetap relevan untuk dipertimbangkan
