Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh keterlambatan distribusi material terhadap biaya dan waktu pelaksanaan pembangunan rumah bagi korban bencana di Kabupaten Kutai Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, di mana data diperoleh melalui observasi lapangan, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlambatan distribusi material memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan biaya proyek. Keterbatasan waktu akibat distribusi material yang tidak tepat waktu mengakibatkan peningkatan biaya operasional, karena kontraktor harus menambah tenaga kerja atau mempercepat proses pelaksanaan untuk mengejar ketertinggalan. Keterlambatan ini juga berdampak pada penurunan margin keuntungan proyek karena beban biaya tambahan yang tidak terduga. Dari sisi waktu, keterlambatan distribusi material memperpanjang durasi penyelesaian proyek, karena pekerja tidak dapat melanjutkan pekerjaan tanpa ketersediaan material yang dibutuhkan. Dengan demikian, keterlambatan distribusi material terbukti berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap efisiensi biaya dan waktu pelaksanaan proyek, serta menurunkan potensi keuntungan yang dapat diperoleh. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya sistem distribusi logistik yang lebih efektif dan terencana dalam pelaksanaan proyek pembangunan, terutama dalam situasi tanggap darurat.
