Abstract

Roads are vital infrastructure that function as a link between various regions and support human mobility and distribution of goods. Infrastructure development also has a strategic role in the development of local and regional tourism, one of which is the Tomb of Datu Si Panaik in Berau Regency. Through the Continuation of the Tomb of Datu Si Panaik Road Development project in Berau Regency funded by the Revised Regional Budget of Berau Regency, it is hoped that with adequate road access, the community and tourists will find it easier to reach the tourist attraction, thereby encouraging increased economic activity through this religious tourism sector. This study aims to analyze and compare the costs and time between the two methods of implementing precast and cast in situ construction on the project. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive approach, with data collection through field observations, interviews, and analysis of project technical documents. The results of the study showed that precast work for structural work amounted to Rp. 151,039,617.30 with a time of 21 days. While structural work using the Cast In Situ method showed a relatively low cost performance of Rp. 99,775,810.49 with a time of 50 days. So the precast method is significantly superior in terms of time, which is 29 days shorter, even though the cost savings are only 0.07% of the total Cost Budget Plan.
