Abstract

Terminal Bayuangga merupakan terminal induk tipe A di Kota Probolinggo yang melayani berbagai moda transportasi darat. Meski telah berstatus tipe A, fasilitas yang tersedia belum mencerminkan standar pelayanan yang ideal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan Terminal Bayuangga dengan pendekatan semiotika arsitektur, guna menciptakan ruang yang informatif, mudah diakses, dan mencerminkan identitas lokal. Metode yang digunakan adalah gabungan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi tapak. Pendekatan semiotika diterapkan untuk menyusun sistem tanda visual dalam desain ruang, sehingga pengguna dapat memahami arah, fungsi, dan relasi antarzona dengan lebih intuitif. Konsep utama mengintegrasikan empat moda transportasi AKDP, AKAP, MPU, dan angkutan kota dalam satu konektivitas terpadu. Hal ini diwujudkan melalui bentuk massa bangunan dan elemen simbolik di pintu masuk yang merepresentasikan keempat moda dalam harmoni visual. Desain ini diharapkan menjadi solusi fungsional sekaligus representatif bagi mobilitas masyarakat, serta memperkuat identitas Kota Probolinggo sebagai simpul transit regional yang efisien dan inklusif.
