Abstract

Parkir adalah keadaan tidak bergerak dari suatu kendaraan yang bersifat sementara. Permasalahan parkir pada dasarnya terjadi karena jumlah kebutuhan parkir lebih besar dari pada kapasitas parkir yang ada. Sehingga kendaraan yang tidak dapat tertampung pada empat parkir akan menganggu kelancaran arus lalu lintas sekitar. Usaha yang perlu dilakukan untuk menangani masalah perparkiran tersebut yaitu di perlukan pengadaan lahan parkir yang cukup memadai. Dalammengevaluasi kebutuhan lahan parkir megunakan beberapa metode yaitu, metode inventaris dan patroli parkir yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui berapa banyak petak , pola, karakteristik serta keutuhan ruang parkir yang akan di jadikan acuan perencanaan lahan parkir. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa karakteristik parkir terdiri dari durasi maksimum parkir sepeda motor dan mobil pada hari efektif adalah 15 menit sedangkan pada hari libur mencapai 75 menit dan mobil mencapai 105 menit. Akumulasi maksimum parkir sepeda motor pada hari efektif adalah 41 kendaraan dan mobil 15 kendaraan sedangkan pada hari libur mencapai 129 kendaraan dan mobil 17 kendaraan.Volume parkir sepeda motor maksimum sebesar 361 kend/jam untuk volume parkir mobil maksimum sebesar 36 kend/jam. Indeks parkir sepeda motor pada hari efektif adalah 41% dan mobil 100% sedangkan pada hari libur mencapai 129% dan mobil 113,33. Turnover parkir sepeda motor pada hari efektif adalah 1,19 kali dan mobil 1,667 kali sedangkan pada hari libur mencapai 3,16 kali dan mobil 2,4 kali. Jika dilihat dari hasil analisa yang telah di lakukan maka kebutuhan ruang parkir (KRP) yang harus disediakan untuk sepeda motor adalah sebesar 142 SRP untuk mobil adalah sebesar 19 SRP.
