Abstract

Minyak transformator berperan penting sebagai isolator listrik dan pendingin dalam sistem distribusi tenaga listrik. Namun, seiring waktu penggunaan, minyak mengalami penuaan akibat faktor panas, oksidasi, dan kontaminasi, yang menurunkan karakteristik dielektriknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penuaan terhadap kemampuan isolasi minyak transformator serta mengevaluasi efektivitas proses pemurnian dalam memulihkan kualitasnya. Pengujian dilakukan terhadap tiga merek minyak transformator (Shell Diala S4, PSP, dan Pri Apar) dalam kondisi baru, Penuaan pakai, dan setelah dilakukan pemurnian. Metode pengujian yang digunakan adalah uji tegangan tembus (breakdown voltage) serta analisis distribusi Weibull untuk mengetahui probabilitas kegagalan dielektrik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minyak yang telah mengalami penuaan memiliki penurunan signifikan pada tegangan tembus, sehingga berisiko lebih tinggi mengalami kegagalan isolasi. Proses pemurnian terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kembali tegangan tembus minyak. Di antara ketiga merek yang diuji, Shell Diala S4 menunjukkan performa dielektrik terbaik dan paling stabil baik sebelum maupun sesudah pemurnian .Studi ini merekomendasikan dilakukannya pemurnian berkala untuk mempertahankan performa isolasi transformator serta pentingnya pemilihan minyak berkualitas tinggi guna menjamin keandalan sistem kelistrikan jangka panjang.
