Abstract

Kabupaten Gresik, yang terletak di sebelah barat laut Kota Surabaya, merupakan wilayah dengan kekayaan potensi alam dan sejarah yang signifikan, terdiri dari wilayah daratan dan kepulauan, termasuk Pulau Bawean. Berdasarkan Peraturan Daerah Provinsi Jawa Timur No. 1 Tahun 2018 tentang Rencana Zonasi Wilayah Pesisir dan Pulau-Pulau Kecil (RZWP-3-K), Pulau Bawean ditetapkan sebagai bagian dari Kawasan Konservasi Pesisir dan Pulau-Pulau Kecil (KKP3K) dengan luas konservasi mencapai 5.387 hektar. Pulau ini memiliki ekosistem terumbu karang yang masih cukup alami dan berperan penting dalam mendukung keanekaragaman hayati laut. Namun, kelestarian terumbu karang di kawasan ini terancam oleh perubahan iklim, kegiatan wisata yang tidak terkontrol, serta penangkapan ikan ilegal. Selain itu, meningkatnya kunjungan wisatawan juga berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan polusi, konsumsi energi, dan pemanasan global. Ditambah minimnya sarana pendukung konservasi serta rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya ekosistem terumbu karang memperburuk kondisi ini. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sebuah pendekatan arsitektural melalui pembangunan fasilitas konservasi terumbu karang yang berbasis wisata edukasi. Fasilitas ini diharapkan mampu menjadi wadah pelestarian ekosistem laut sekaligus media pembelajaran yang mendorong keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dalam menjaga keberlanjutan lingkungan pesisir di kawasan perairan Pulau Gili Noko, Bawean
