Abstract

Kota Blitar dikenal dengan ikon wisata kebangsaannya, yaitu Makam Bung Karno. Guna mendukung daya tarik utama tersebut, diperlukan pengembangan objek wisata pendukung yang berbasis potensi lokal. Salah satunya adalah Agrowisata Belimbing Karangsari, yang telah ditetapkan sebagai kawasan agrowisata sejak tahun 2015 dan berjarak hanya sekitar 2 km dari pusat kota. Komoditas belimbing dari kawasan ini telah diakui secara nasional sebagai varietas unggul dan memiliki potensi ekonomi yang menjanjikan. Namun, berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara lapangan, kawasan ini masih menghadapi sejumlah permasalahan, antara lain infrastruktur yang belum optimal dan belum memenuhi standar usaha wisata agro sesuai Permenparekraf No. 4 Tahun 2021, minimnya inovasi dalam kegiatan wisata, kurangnya identitas visual serta daya tarik arsitektural, dan belum adanya perencanaan tata sirkulasi serta zoning yang efektif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengembangan kawasan Agrowisata Belimbing Karangsari dengan pendekatan desain yang lebih menarik, fungsional, dan terintegrasi dengan lingkungan sekitar. Tujuan pengembangan ini tidak hanya untuk meningkatkan kualitas wisata, tetapi juga untuk memfasilitasi pelaku UMKM lokal dan memperluas eksposur kawasan ini kepada masyarakat. Dengan perencanaan ulang yang sesuai dengan Rencana Strategis (RENSTRA) Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kota Blitar Tahun 2016–2021, diharapkan kawasan ini mampu berkembang menjadi destinasi wisata unggulan yang berkelanjutan dan memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat setempat
