Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kontrol diri dengan cyberslacking pada siswa SMA di Surabaya. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya hubungan negatif antara kontrol diri dengan cyberslacking. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Penelitian ini melibatkan 345 responden yang dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Berdasarkan perhitungan analisis uji hipotesis pertama dengan analisis spearmen rho, diperoleh nilai korelasi (r) sebesar -0,309 dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 yang artinya terdapat hubungan yang negatif antara kontrol diri dengan cyberslacking. Artinya semakin rendah kontrol diri maka semakin tinggi perilaku cyberslacking. Sebaliknya, apabila tingkat kontrol diri rendah maka semaikin tinggi perilaku cyberslacking.
