Abstract

Perancangan fasilitas wisata gastronomi di Kota Malang bertujuan untuk menciptakan destinasi pariwisata budaya yang mengangkat kekayaan kuliner khas dan tradisi lokal sebagai daya tarik utama. Konsep pariwisata budaya berbasis kuliner dan tradisi setempat menjadi landasan utama dalam merancang ruang-ruang yang tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai tempat makan, tetapi juga sebagai sarana edukatif, interaksi sosial, dan pelestarian budaya. Pendekatan arsitektur neo-vernakular diterapkan untuk merepresentasikan identitas lokal melalui bentuk bangunan yang terinspirasi dari rumah adat, penggunaan material alami seperti kayu dan batu, serta penerapan strategi desain yang adaptif terhadap iklim tropis seperti pencahayaan alami dan ventilasi silang. Ruang-ruang seperti plaza kuliner, museum gastronomi, dan area pertunjukan budaya dirancang untuk mengakomodasi berbagai kegiatan tematik seperti festival makanan, demo masak tradisional, dan pertunjukan seni daerah, sehingga menciptakan pengalaman berwisata yang tidak hanya menyenangkan tetapi juga mendalam secara budaya. Melalui desain ini, fasilitas tidak hanya menjadi tempat konsumsi makanan, tetapi juga wahana untuk memperkenalkan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal kepada masyarakat luas. Kehadiran fasilitas ini diharapkan mampu menciptakan sinergi antara sektor pariwisata, budaya, dan ekonomi lokal secara berkelanjutan, sekaligus memperkuat posisi Kota Malang sebagai destinasi unggulan wisata gastronomi berbasis budaya di Indonesia.
