Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between Job Satisfaction and Quiet Quitting behavior in Generation Z employees. This study uses a quantitative correlational approach with a purposive sampling technique and the number of respondents is 113 people aged 18–28 years. The measuring instrument used is a Job Satisfaction survey scale based on Spector's theory and a Quiet Quitting behavior scale based on Mahand and Caldwell's theory. The results of the correlation test using Pearson Product Moment show a coefficient of -0.482 with a significance of 0.000 <0.01, meaning that there is a very significant relationship between Job Satisfaction and Quiet Quitting Behavior. The results of the study show a significant negative relationship between Job Satisfaction and Quiet Quitting behavior. This means that the higher a person's Job Satisfaction, the lower the person's tendency to do Quiet Quitting behavior. This finding confirms that Job Satisfaction is a significant protective factor against the tendency of employees to withdraw psychologically from work responsibilities.
