Abstract

Advances in information technology have encouraged many industrial sectors to adopt digital systems to improve operational efficiency. One of the sectors that benefit from digitalization is automotive repair shops. This research aims to develop a workshop website that integrates Point of Sale (POS) features and an expert system for diagnosing starter dynamo damage. The technology used in the development of this website is the Laravel framework and MySQL database. The Point of Sale feature is designed to facilitate the sales transaction process in the workshop, from inventory management, to financial invoicing. This system is expected to improve accuracy and efficiency in managing daily transactions in the workshop. Meanwhile, the starter dynamo damage diagnosis expert system to provide an analysis of the damage that occurs in the vehicle starter dynamo. This system allows customers to perform initial diagnosis independently through a series of questions that have been designed in the system.
