Abstract
Kabupaten Banyuwangi saat ini memiliki 13 Rumah Sakit yang terdiri dari fasilitas pemerintah dan swasta. Menurut standar World Health Organization (WHO), Per-satu Rumah Sakit seharusnya melayani setiap 100.000 penduduk. Dengan jumlah penduduk pada data RPJMD Tahun 2021-2026 mencapai 1.754.718 jiwa, terdapat kekurangan 4 Rumah Sakit yang seharusnya dibangun untuk menunjang pemerataan Kesehatan di wilayah selatan kabupaten Banyuwangi, Adapun 13 rumah sakit berada di wilayah Tengah, sedangkan bagian Selatan yang terdiri dari 5 kecamatan yaitu Pesanggaran, Siliragung,Bangorejo, Purwoharjo, Tegaldlimo, dengan kapasitas penduduk mencapai 249,100 jiwa dapat memberikan dampak lamanya perjalanan yang ditempuh, bahkan mencapai 2 jam menggunakan mobil, Hal ini mencerminkan bahwa kapasitas layanan kesehatan di kabupaten Banyuwangi belum mencukupi kebutuhan masyarakat secara optimal. Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian maka digunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif melalui perhitungan rasio dari jumlah penduduk. Beberapa data yang diperlukan adalah Geografi wilayah, Sebaran rumah sakit, Pertumbuhan demografi penduduk, Sumber Daya Manusia, Terdapat Rasio ideal per 1 Tempat Tidur (TT) : 1.000 Penduduk, maka untuk mencapai rasio ideal setiap 1000 jiwa perlu direncanakan pembangunan rumah sakit baru terutama di bagian selatan sehingga kualitas pelayanan dapat ditingkatkan dan merata ke seluruh wilayah kabupaten Banyuwangi.
