Abstract
Technology has an important role in everyday life, including in the field of education. SMK Barunawati Surabaya is one of the schools that uses technology to improve promotional media and provide more complete information to prospective students and the public. This research aims to develop a Virtual Tour application using panorama as a promotional media for SMK Barunawati Surabaya. By using Virtual Tour technology, it is expected that prospective students can feel and see the school facilities and environment virtually without having to come directly to the location. The method used in this research is Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which includes the stages of planning, analysis, design, implementation. The developed Virtual Tour application displays a 360-degree panorama of various school facilities and environments, equipped with interactive features that allow users to explore every corner of the school. The results showed that this Virtual Tour application succeeded in providing a more in-depth and interactive experience to users. Testing was conducted at the Alpha stage with the blackbox method to test the functionality of the application, and at the Beta stage with a questionnaire analysed using a Likert scale to evaluate the usability of the application. The results showed that the Virtual Tour application of SMK Barunawati Surabaya functions according to its purpose and can be utilised as a promotional tool to introduce the environment of SMK Barunawati Surabaya.
