Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji redesain kawasan wisata Telaga Ngipik di Gresik dengan pendekatan arsitektur biofilik, berupaya mengatasi permasalahan pengelolaan dan fasilitas yang kurang maksimal di tengah potensi besar sebagai destinasi rekreasi. Telaga Ngipik, bekas lahan tambang yang telah bertransformasi menjadi kawasan wisata, menghadapi tantangan seperti fasilitas kurang terawat, minimnya pengawasan keamanan, dan kurangnya kenyamanan bagi pengunjung. Dengan mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip arsitektur biofilik yaitu desain yang menghubungkan manusia dengan alam redesain ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan wisata yang tidak hanya aman dan nyaman, tetapi juga meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis pengunjung melalui koneksi yang lebih dalam dengan elemen alami. Pendekatan ini diharapkan dapat mengoptimalkan pengalaman wisata, mendorong keberlanjutan kawasan, dan mendukung visi Gresik sebagai kota yang mengedepankan kualitas hidup dan pariwisata yang berwawasan lingkungan, sejalan dengan peraturan daerah yang mengamanatkan standar mutu layanan dan perlindungan wisatawan.
