Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara Intolerance of Uncertainty (IU) dan kecemasan terhadap masa depan di kalangan Gen Z, serta peran dukungan keluarga sebagai mediator. Intolerance of Uncertainty (IU) adalah IU sebagai ketidakmampuan disposisional individu untuk menghadapi respons yang tidak menyenangkan akibat persepsi kurangnya informasi yang penting dan mencolok, yang diperburuk oleh persepsi ketidakpastian. Kecemasan Masa Depan merupakan perasaan takut, khawatir, dan gelisah terhadap kemungkinan yang tidak diinginkan dan tidak sesuai harapan. Dukungan Keluarga sebagai suatu sikap atau Tindakan penerimaan yang dilakukan oleh keluarga terhadap anggota keluarga lainnya.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalalah Genarazi Z yang berjumlah 348 orang yang ada di Kota Surabaya. Hasil pengujian hipotesis pertama menunjukkan nilai z-value = 2,661 dan p = 0,008 (p<0,05) artinya dukungan keluarga mampu menjadi mediator hubungan tidak langsung antara Intolerance of Uncertainty dengan Kecemasan akan masa depan. Hasil Hipotesis kedua hubungan langsung antara Intolerance of Uncertainty dengan Kecemasan akan masa depan , diperoleh nilai z-value = 5,611 dengan signifikansi sebesar p = 0,001 (p < 0,05), artinya semakin tinggi Intolerance of Uncertainty, semakin tinggi pula Kecemasan akan masa depan pada Gen Z. Hasil hipotesis ketiga menunjukkan hubungan langsung antara Intolerance of Uncertainty dengan dukungan keluarga, diperoleh nilai z = -2,798 dengan signifikansi sebesar p = 0,005 (p < 0,05). Artinya menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara Intolerance of Uncertainty dengan dukungan keluarga bersifat negative, hubungan menunjukkan bahwa ketika Intolerance of Uncertainty meningkat, hal tersebut berdampak dengan penurunan dukungan keluarga. Hasil Hipotesis keempat menunjukkan hubungan langsung antara Dukungan keluarga dengan Kecemasan akan masa depan , diperoleh nilai z = -8,633 dengan signifikansi sebesar p = 0,001 (p < 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Dukungan keluarga dengan Kecemasan akan masa depan memiliki hubungan yang signifikan.
