Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara job satisfaction dan work life balance dengan perilaku job hopping pada generasi Z di PT. X Surabaya. Job hopping merupakan fenomena perpindahan kerja secara singkat yang semakin marak terjadi pada kalangan generasi Z yang merupakan pekerja muda, dimana generasi Z melakukan perpindahan kerja untuk memenuhi ekspektasi terkait kepuasan dan keseimbangan hidup. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah generasi Z yang saat ini bekerja di PT. X Surabaya, dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 130 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan probability sampling dengan metode random sampling dan didapatkan jumlah sampel sebanyak 108 orang. Analisis regresi berganda digunakan sebagai teknik analsis data pada penelitian ini. Hasil dari analisis menunjukkan bahwa job satisfaction dan work life balance memiliki hubungan dengan job hopping secara simultan dan siginifikan dengan F = 57,450. Arah hubungan job satisfaction ke job hopping adalah negatif yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai t = 8,406 dan siginifikansi 0,000. Arah hubungan work life balance ke job hopping adalah negatif yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai t = -4,663 dan signifikansi 0,000. Job satisfaction memiliki pengaruh sebesar 37,82% terhadap job hopping dan work life balance memiliki pengaruh lebih kecil, yakni sebesar 14,43%. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa job hopping pada subjek berada pada kategori rendah, sedangkan job satisfaction dan work life balance berada pada kategori tinggi.
