Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the relationship between social support and anxiety in facing infidelity among Persit mothers at the military dormitory X in Sidoarjo. The research employed a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The sample consisted of 152 participants who met the criteria of being Persit mothers aged 22 to 37 and currently engaged in a Long Distance Marriage (LDM). In this study, the instrument used was a questionnaire administered via Google Form. The data analysis technique applied was the Pearson product-moment correlation. The results showed that there was a significant negative correlation between social support and anxiety in facing infidelity among Persit mothers, with a correlation coefficient of -0.338, indicating a very strong relationship. The significance value (Sig.) was 0.000, which is less than 0.005, implying a significant negative relationship between social support and anxiety in facing infidelity among Persit mothers.
