Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between social support and psychological well-being in divorced students at the University of 17 August 1945 Surabaya. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The sample in the study consisted of 335 participants who met the criteria, namely active students from the 2021–2024 intake aged 18–25 years and victims of parental divorce. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire distributed via Google Form. The data analysis technique used the Pearson correlation test with the help of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 26 for Windows program. The results of the analysis showed a very strong relationship between social support and psychological well-being, with a correlation coefficient value of 0.870 and a significance of p = 0.000 (<0.05). This indicates that the higher the social support received, the higher the level of psychological well-being in divorced students.
