Abstract

Gombang is a village in Pakel District, Tulungagung Regency. Gombang Village has an area of 272.18 hectares, 70% of which is productive rice fields used to grow various agricultural commodities. The dominant agricultural commodities are rice and corn. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence production costs and design strategies to increase farmer profitability through a dynamic system scenario. Factor analysis in SmartPLS shows that the planet and person variables have a significant ef ect on profit, with a person coef icient of 0.297 and a planet coef icient of 0.400. In STELLA, a dynamic system simulation test was conducted with two scenarios, namely the selection of superior seeds and the use of semi-organic fertilizers. The use of superior seeds can increase profits in MT 1 by 4.81%, MT 2 by 5.58%, MT 3 by 54.48%. While the second scenario shows that the use of semi-organic fertilizers can reduce operational costs by 10.20% in MT 1, MT 2 by 6.25%, and MT 3 by 7.78%. The use of semi-organic fertilizer can increase profits in MT 1 by 25.99%, MT 2 by 29.61%, and MT 3 by 33.98%. The most optimal scenario is the second, which uses semi-organic fertilizer. This scenario significantly reduces operational costs.
