Abstract

UD. Loyang Pan Ikan is a manufacturing industry producing galvalume-based baking pans that has been operating since 2010. The production process of the baking pans is still done conventionally, involving 4 workers who produce an average of 4,000 units of baking pans per month. Based on the observations, it is known that one worker completes more than one work element, which can affect the level of work fatigue. That condition has the potential to increase standard time and high workload on employees. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct an analysis of the workload, identify less effective activities, and determine the ideal number of workers needed in the production process. In this study, the methods used are the Stopwatch Time Study method to determine the standard time required in producing trays, the Work Load Analysis (WLA) method to determine the workload received by workers, and the Work Force Analysis (WFA) method to determine the ideal number of workers needed. The research results show that the workload percentage for Worker 1 is 125.22% and for Worker 4 is 120.58%. These values exceed the workload capacity, so it is proposed to add 2 workers to reduce fatigue levels and support the company's productivity from 30 baking trays per worker to 32 baking trays per worker.
