Abstract

Green construction merupakan pendekatan pembangunan yang berorientasi pada kelestarian lingkungan dan efisiensi sumber daya. Namun, implementasinya di lapangan masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti rendahnya pemahaman pelaku konstruksi dan minimnya penggunaan material ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman kontraktor terhadap green construction serta mengevaluasi penggunaan material ramah lingkungan dalam proyek konstruksi. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi jenis material green construction yang umum digunakan dan tahapan proyek di mana material tersebut diaplikasikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden yang berasal dari kalangan profesional konstruksi di wilayah Surabaya dan sekitarnya. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode statistik regresi linear berganda melalui perangkat lunak SPSS versi 27. Perhitungan rata-rata (mean) digunakan untuk menentukan frekuensi penggunaan jenis material green construction serta tahapan proyek yang paling banyak menerapkan material tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi pemahaman kontraktor terhadap green construction dan penggunaan material green construction pada penerapan green construction dengan prosentase sebesar 8,3 persen. Selain itu, material green construction paling banyak digunakan adalah bata ramah lingkungan dan tahapan proyek yang banyak diterapkan pada tahap konstruksi.
