Abstract

PT TJAKRINDO merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi berbagai produk seperti pipa PVC, beton, dan furnitur kayu, salah satunya adalah kursi. Saat ini, perusahaan menghadapi kendala dalam pengendalian persediaan bahan baku untuk produk Kursi BR-600 dan Kursi Lipat karena belum menggunakan metode perhitungan ilmiah dalam perencanaan kebutuhannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem pengendalian persediaan bahan baku menggunakan pendekatan deterministik dinamis dan menentukan metode yang paling optimal. Pendekatan yang digunakan meliputi peramalan permintaan menggunakan metode Single Exponential Smoothing dan Moving Average, serta perhitungan safety stock, ukuran pemesanan optimal (lot size), dan total biaya persediaan. Selanjutnya dilakukan perencanaan pengendalian persediaan dengan menggunakan Wagner-Whitin Algorithm dan Silver-Meal Algorithm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Wagner-Whitin Algorithm dan Silver-Meal Algorithm dalam pengendalian persediaan deterministik dinamis mampu menurunkan total biaya persediaan bahan baku Kursi BR-600. Di antara keduanya, metode Wagner-Withing Algorithm terbukti paling optimal dengan total biaya persediaan sebesar Rp 3.388.833.000
