Abstract

Indonesia memiliki keanekaragaman jenis tanah akibat pengaruh geologis dan aktivitas vulkanik. Di beberapa wilayah, seperti kawasan Ibu Kota Negara (IKN) di Kalimantan Timur, ditemukan tanah berpasir jenuh air dengan kepadatan rendah yang memiliki nilai N-SPT rendah, sehingga menjadikannya rentan terhadap likuifaksi. Fenomena likuifaksi dapat terjadi akibat guncangan seismik yang menyebabkan hilangnya kekuatan geser tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi likuifaksi dan mengevaluasi efektivitas metode perbaikan tanah menggunakan stone column berdasarkan data N-SPT di kawasan IKN, Kalimantan Timur. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa potensi likuifaksi terjadi pada kedalaman 0,00–8,00 m dengan faktor keamanan (SF) < 1, sedangkan pada kedalaman 10–30 m tidak ditemukan indikasi likuifaksi (SF > 1). Perhitungan penurunan tanah akibat likuifaksi menggunakan metode Tokimatsu menghasilkan nilai sebesar 1,3115 m, lebih besar dibandingkan metode Ishihara sebesar 0,5345 m. Selain itu, perhitungan penurunan pondasi dangkal menunjukkan bahwa sebelum perbaikan, total penurunan sebesar 0,7223 cm, dan berkurang menjadi 0,538 cm setelah dilakukan perbaikan dengan metode stone column. Penerapan stone column berdiameter 0,5 m, spasi 1 m, dan konfigurasi triangular terbukti meningkatkan nilai N-SPT serta faktor keamanan tanah hingga mencapai nilai > 1, sehingga efektif dalam memperbaiki karakteristik tanah lunak dan menjaga kestabilan struktur di kawasan tersebut.
