Abstract

Sebagai negara berkembang, Indonesia terus mendorong sektor pembangunan, khususnya di bidang perumahan, perhotelan, dan infrastruktur. Namun, aktivitas konstruksi juga menimbulkan potensi limbah material yang signifikan dan berdampak terhadap lingkungan. Salah satu pendekatan untuk mengurangi pemborosan ini adalah melalui penerapan lean construction, yang menekankan efisiensi dan eliminasi waste dalam proyek konstruksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada proyek pembangunan Kantor PT. Horison Nusantara Indonesia di Surabaya, yang terdiri dari tiga lantai. Fokus penelitian adalah pada waste material yang terjadi pada pekerjaan struktur di lantai 1 dan 2. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi material yang paling berpotensi menjadi limbah, menghitung proporsi waste yang dihasilkan, serta mengetahui faktor utama penyebabnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis Pareto untuk mengetahui material dominan penyumbang waste, serta diagram Fishbone (sebab-akibat) untuk menganalisis faktor penyebab berdasarkan hasil wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa material utama penyumbang waste adalah beton Ready mix dan besi tulangan ulir D10, D13, dan D16, dengan proporsi waste masing-masing sebesar 0,23%, 2,08%, 1,45%, dan 2,6%. Faktor penyebab utama waste terdiri dari waste of defect, waste of processing, dan waste of design untuk beton; serta tambahan waste of inventory pada besi tulangan.
