Abstract

Green Construction merupakan gerakan berkelanjutan yang bertujuan untuk menciptakan proses konstruksi yang ramah lingkungan, hemat energi dan sumber daya serta hemat biaya, mulai dari perencanaan hingga pelaksanaan dan penggunaan produk konstruksi. Green Construction adalah konsep penerapan bangunan ramah lingkungan dimana proyek konstruksi direncanakan dan dikelola sesuai dengan dokumen kontrak untuk meminimalkan dampak terhadap proses konstruksi dan lingkungan. Faktanya beberapa proyek konstruksi tidak dapat berhasil dilaksanakan meski dengan menggunakan konsep konstruksi ramah lingkungan. Salah satu kendala dalam penerapan konsep ini adalah kurangnya pemahaman tentang Green Construction itu sendiri. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengindentifikasi pengetahuan kontraktor mengenai kendala dan pengaruh Green Construction terhadap faktor lingkungan, ekonomi, dan sosial di kota Surabaya. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif yang diolah menggunakan metode PLS (Partial Least Square) untuk mengetahui besar kendala dan pengaruh penerapan Green Construction terhadap faktor lingkungan, ekonomi, dan sosial. Hasil dari penilitian ini adalah presentase kendala Green Construction di kota Surabaya adalah 62,1% pada penerapan Green Construction, serta terdapat pengaruh Green Construction terhadap Faktor Lingkungan sebesar 38,6%, terhadap Faktor Sosial 23%, terhadap Faktor Ekonomi 18,9%.
