Abstract

Pasar Krian menjadi salah satu pasar tradisional terbesar di Kabupaten Sidoarjo yang mengalami permasalahan serius dalam penyediaan fasilitas parkir. Keterbatasan lahan parkir menyebabkan kemacetan, gangguan lalu lintas, serta ketidakknyamanan bagi para pengunjung dan pedagang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan ruang parkir dan karakteristik parkir di Pasar Krian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu survei patroli parkir dan survei inventarisasi ruang parkir. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di area parkir Pasar krian dalam rentang waktu observasi, yaitu pada hari Senin, 21 April 2025 hingga Minggu, 27 April 2025, diperoleh bahwa jumlah total akumulasi parkir sepeda motor di sisi utara dan selatan tertinggi terjadi pada hari Minggu, 27 April 2025 pada saat jam puncak yaitu pukul 07.01 – 08.00 WIB, dengan jumlah mencapai 196 kendaraan, dan akumulasi parkir mobil tertinggi pada hari Sabtu, 26 April 2025 dengan jumlah 21 mobil. Volume parkir maksimum motor sisi utara tertinggi terjadi pada hari Minggu, 27 April 2025 dengan jumlah 465 kendaraan, sedangkan parkir motor sisi selatan pada hari Sabtu, 26 April dengan jumlah sebesar 427 kendaraan, dan volume parkir mobil tertinggi pada hari Minggu, 27 April 2025 dengan jumlah 66 kendaraan. Presentase indeks parkir pada rentang waktu tersebut menunjukkan nilai di atas 100% yang mengindikasikan bahwa kapasitas parkir yang tersedia tidak mencukupi untuk menampung seluruh kendaraan yang masuk. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, kapasitas parkir eksisting di Pasar Krian sebesar 131 SRP untuk motor dan 7 SRP untuk mobil, sedangkan kebutuhan ruang parkir berdasarkan akumulasi maksimum mencapai 196 SRP untuk motor dan 21 SRP untuk mobil. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perlunya penambahan ruang parir sebanyak 64 SRP untuk motor dan 14 SRP untuk mobil.
