Abstract

Kota Surabaya memiliki kekayaan seni pertunjukan tradisional seperti Ludruk, Ketoprak, dan Wayang Orang yang mencerminkan identitas budaya lokal. Namun, keberadaan fasilitas seni pertunjukan yang mampu mewadahi pelestarian dan pengembangan seni tradisional masih terbatas dan belum sepenuhnya representatif terhadap nilai-nilai budaya lokal. Perancangan fasilitas seni pertunjukan tradisional ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan ruang ekspresi budaya yang tidak hanya fungsional dan mendukung aktivitas seni, tetapi juga mencerminkan karakter lokal Surabaya melalui pendekatan vernakular kontemporer. Pendekatan ini menggabungkan nilai-nilai arsitektur tradisional, seperti bentuk, material lokal, dan prinsip kearifan lokal, dengan prinsip desain kontemporer yang adaptif terhadap kebutuhan masa kini. Hasil perancangan diharapkan mampu menjadi pusat kegiatan seni yang inklusif, edukatif, dan berkelanjutan, serta memperkuat identitas budaya kota Surabaya.
