Abstract
Uncontrolled population growth can certainly affect the increasing needs for food, clothing, and shelter. To be able to meet these needs, humans must get a job that can produce income so that all of a person's clothing, food, and shelter needs can be met properly. The employment sector is everything related to the workforce, both before, during and after the completion of the work period. Getting a job and then working is one way for humans to meet their physiological needs. Every employer is required to fulfill and determine the rights and obligations of workers or laborers which are made based on the provisions of Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning the Stipulation of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law Number 2 of 2022 concerning Job Creation into Law, but sometimes employers do not understand and understand the rights that should be obtained or obtained by workers or laborers that must be fulfilled. Before carrying out their duties as laborers/workers, a work agreement will first be carried out between PT. Eigerindo MPI with laborers/workers so that a mutually binding work relationship is formed. The agreement in the form of a work agreement must be made in writing and obtain an agreement between the worker or laborer and the employer or referred to as the employer (company). The work agreement provided by PT. Eigerindo MPI can be in the form of a Fixed Term Work Agreement (PKWT) or also made in the form of an Indefinite Work Agreement (PKWTT). The implementation of the work agreement with the PKWT type must be based on the provisions of the applicable Law and based on the principles of the agreement that are generally stated in the Civil Code and have been specifically discussed in Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning the Stipulation of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law Number 2 of 2022 concerning Job Creation into Law.
