Abstract

Industri video game dan aplikasi merupakan salah satu dari 17 subsektor industri kreatif di Indonesia yang secara kuantitatif mengalami laju pertumbuhan paling signifikan. Namun, kualitas SDM yang belum memadai menjadi permasalahan utama dalam industri game ini. Mengingat industri video game memiliki potensi tinggi untuk dikembangkan, pemerintah memberikan prioritas pada pengembangan SDM pelaku industri game, yang rencananya aktivitas tersebut difokuskan di KEK Digital. KEK Singhasari sebagai KEK Digital di Indonesia merupakan wadah bagi industri teknologi digital yang salah satunya adalah industri video game. Dalam upaya pengembangan kompetensi SDM pelaku industri video game, maka dibutuhkan sebuah wadah berupa fasilitas pelatihan yang tidak sekadar untuk kebutuhan industri video game, namun juga sebagai fasilitas pelatihan yang merespons kegiatan kreatif selama masa pelatihan. Maka dari itu, dengan perancangan fasilitas pelatihan pengembangan video game di KEK Singhasari, serta menerapkan pendekatan Creative Space yang sesuai dengan tuntutan aktivitas dan proses kreatif selama masa pelatihan.
