Abstract

Pantai Modangan yang terletak di Kabupaten Malang merupakan kawasan pesisir yang masih alami dan menjadi habitat peneluran penyu. Ditemukannya telur penyu dalam waktu beberapa tahun terakhir di area ini menunjukkan bahwa pantai tersebut memiliki potensi ekologis yang penting bagi keberlangsungan spesies penyu. Namun, tanpa adanya perlindungan dan pengelolaan yang tepat, aktivitas manusia berpotensi mengganggu proses alami peneluran dan mengancam kelestarian populasi penyu. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, solusi yang diusulkan adalah pembangunan fasilitas konservasi penyu di kawasan pantai tersebut. Fasilitas ini diharapkan dapat melindungi telur-telur penyu, mendukung proses penetasan alami, serta meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya menjaga ekosistem pesisir. Konservasi yang terencana akan memberikan manfaat ekologis jangka panjang serta mendukung keberlanjutan wisata berbasis lingkungan di Pantai Modangan Kabupaten Malang.
