Abstract

Pengoperasian sitem tenaga listrik dapat dipengaruhi oleh peralatan yang berfungsi menyalurkan sistem tenaga listrik yaitu transformator. Transformator adalah mesin listrik yang mengubah level tegangan dengan prinsip elektromagnet. Peralatan seperti transformator memiliki batasan umur yang sudah ditentukan yaitu 20,55 tahun. Umur transformator sendiri dipengaruhi oleh pembebanan, naiknya temperatur pada transformator dapat dipengaruhi oleh suhu lingkungan dan pembebanan terhadap transformator itu sendiri. Ada banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi umur pada transformator termasuk susut umur yang dialami transformator. Pada kesempatan ini penelitian dilakukan pada transformator PT ESSENTRA INDONESIA yang berkapasitas 3000KVA. Berdasarkan hasil pengambilan dan pengolahan data didapat penyusutan umur transformator terbesar pada hari sabtu dengan 0, 435 jam pada beban 1001, 408 KW pada suhu hotspot mencapai 90 dengan perkiraann sisa umur transformator 18,8 tahun. Susut umur terkecil pada hari selasa dengan 0,383 jam pada beban 963, 837 KW pada suhu hotspot 89,8°C dengan perkiraan sisa umur 19,0 tahun. Masih dalam batas ambang aman dengan acuan EIC 345 tahun 1991 suhu HotSpot 98 ` dengan mengetahui susut umur pada transformator maka dapat mencegah kerusakan yang dapat mengakibatkan fatal pada sitem peralatan yang terhubung dengan transformator, dapat mengganggu kelancaran sistem produksi dan serta mengancam keselamatan kerja setiap karyawan yang bekerja. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini dibuat agar mengetahui kapan masa pakai transformator akan digantikan, agar tetap menjaga sistem keandaan sistem tenaga listrik di dapalam PT ESSENTRA INDONESIA.
