Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh keputusan investasi, struktur modal, ukuran perusahaan terhadap profitabilitas dan sustainable growth pada perusahaan di subsektor konstruksi berat dan teknik sipil. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran profitabilitas sebagai variabel mediasi antara variabel eksogen dan sustainable growth, serta financial flexibility sebagai variabel moderasi dalam hubungan antara profitabilitas dan sustainable growth. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk memberikan wawasan tentang faktor-faktor yang mendorong sustainable growth, yang penting untuk mempertahankan kinerja dan daya saing perusahaan dalam jangka panjang, terutama dalam industri konstruksi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari laporan keuangan yang telah diaudit dan dipublikasikan dalam laporan tahunan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan subsektor konstruksi berat dan teknik sipil yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2019-2023. Sebanyak 17 perusahaan dipilih sebagai sampel penelitian dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan metode Partial Least Squares (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 11 hipotesis yang diajukan, 4 hipotesis diterima dan 7 hipotesis ditolak. Keputusan investasi, struktur modal, dan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas. Namun, hanya ukuran perusahaan yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap sustainable growth. Keputusan investasi dan struktur modal tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap sustainable growth. Profitabilitas juga berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap sustainable growth dan tidak memediasi hubungan antar variabel. Selain itu, financial flexibility tidak memoderasi hubungan antara profitabilitas dan sustainable growth. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan profitabilitas lebih dipengaruhi oleh strategi investasi, struktur modal, dan skala perusahaan, namun tidak serta merta diterjemahkan secara langsung ke dalam sustainable growth.
