Abstract

Every individual goes through life cycles and transitions across various stages of development throughout their life journey, including entering the early adulthood stage, which spans the ages of 20–30 years. At this stage, individuals are vulnerable to feelings of confusion, uncertainty, and pressure in determining their life direction, a phenomenon commonly referred to as the quarter life crisis. Resilience and psychological well-being are key factors in helping individuals cope with the challenges of this phase. This study aims to examine the positive relationship between resilience and psychological well being in individuals experiencing a quarter life crisis. The research employs a quantitative approach using the accidental sampling method. The population that meets the criteria for this study consists of 147 participants. The study utilizes the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique for data analysis.The results of the study, based on the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique, show a correlation coefficient of r = 0.842 with a significance value of 0.00 (p < 0.05), indicating a positive correlation between resilience and psychological well-being. This means that the higher the resilience of individuals experiencing a quarterlife crisis, the higher their psychological well-being, and vice versa. Furthermore, resilience contributes an effective contribution of 70,9% to psychological well-being in this study.
