Abstract
Ornamental plants are plants that people can plant as decoration, generally the definition of decoration is decoration on the home page, in the design the size of the plant is not too lush. This study aims to determine how the feasibility of ornamental plant business in Banyuurip Village, Kedamean District, Gresik Regency. This study took data obtained from 6 informants of ornamental plant businesses in Banyuurip Village, Kedamean District, Gresik Regency. This study took data obtained from 6 informants of ornamental plant businesses in Banyuurip Village, Kedamean District, Gresik Regency. This study has data collection techniques using interviews and observations as primary data collection tools. The type of research used is a qualitative method which in this study uses the calculation tools Return on Investment, Revenue Cost Ratio and Benefit Cost Ratio as indicators of the feasibility of ornamental plant business. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be explained that the length of business that has been run by ornamental plant business owners has been running for at least more than 1 year and with one informant or coffee shop business owner who has been running this coffee shop business for more than 7 years with a percentage of informants of 25%, and in running this ornamental plant business, business owners do not require a high level of education and high skills, but require tenacity from each individual ornamental plant entrepreneur. ornamental plant business in Banyuurip Village, Kedamean District, Gresik Regency studied as many as 6 people and the average income generated is IDR 27,000,000 / month, and has an average total cost incurred each month of IDR 10,364,500 / month, for the average profit that will be obtained from 6 ornamental plant business owners in Banyuurip Village, Kedamean District, Gresik Regency which is IDR 18,029,967 / month. The average ROI of the six ornamental plant businesses is 200,775%. In simple terms, in 1 year the average return on investment for the six ornamental plant businesses studied was 200,775%, while the average R/C value of the six ornamental plant businesses was 3,008 meaning, with a capital of IDR 1,000, the ornamental plant business on average earns an income of IDR 3,008 or a profit of IDR 2,008 due to the total income of the six ornamental plant businesses and the average value of the B/C ratio of the six ornamental plant businesses is 2,008.
