Abstract

This study aims to examine: (1) the effect of work stress on employee performance at Uda Wandi Restaurant Surabaya, (2) the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance at Uda Wandi Restaurant Surabaya, (3) the effect of the work environment on employee performance at Uda Wandi Restaurant Surabaya, and (4) the effect of work stress, transformational leadership, and the work environment on employee performance at Uda Wandi Restaurant Surabaya. This research uses a quantitative research method with the population consisting of employees working at Uda Wandi Restaurant Surabaya. The sampling technique used is Saturation Sampling, with a total sample of 52 employees. The data analysis methods used in this study are the coefficient of determination and multiple linear regression. The findings of this study show that work stress (X1) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y), with a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05 and a t value of 2.115 > t-table value of 2.011. The work environment (X3) also has a significant effect on employee performance (Y), with a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05 and a t-value of 4.852 > t-table value of 2.011. This indicates that the work environment significantly influences employee performance. However, transformational leadership (X2) does not have a significant effect on employee performance (Y), with a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05 and a t-value of 0.158 < t table value of 2.011, meaning it does not have a significant impact.
