Abstract

Currently, many workers are filled by generation z, even in 2023, the number of ASN generation z workers will reach 6% (268,920). Previous studies have shown that there are differences in the work values of generation z and previous generations. This difference in work values will make generation z workers avoid organizational citizenship behavior, even though organizational citizenship behavior is a significant indicator of organizational performance. This study aims to test the Organizational Citizenship Behavior of Generation Z ASN which is influenced by Transformational Leadership and Self-Efficacy with Job Satisfaction as a Mediator. The subjects in this study were 365 ASN Generation Z in the South Sulawesi Provincial Government. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection used the organizational citizenship behavior scale, transformational leadership scale, self efficacy scale and job satisfaction scale. The data analysis used was Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of the analysis showed that transformational leadership, self-efficacy, and job satisfaction had a positive and significant influence on organizational citizenship behavior. All hypotheses in this study were accepted. The results of this study indicate that the variables of Transformational Leadership, Self-Efficacy, and Job Satisfaction have an important role in improving the Organizational Citizenship Behavior of Generation Z ASN.
