Abstract

This research aims to enhance customer engagement through the development of jewelry product visualization based on Augmented Reality (AR) using Snap AR technology on the Snapchat social media platform. The development process was carried out using the Rapid Prototyping method through the stages of concept, build, review, refine, and production. The UMUX-LITE evaluation indicated a predicted SUS score of 79.3, while user engagement reached 90.4% based on the UES-SF method. The research concludes that although the visualization of earrings and necklaces using Snap AR technology can enhance customer engagement, it is necessary to add more diverse and realistic jewelry models. Additionally, developing jewelry product visualization on social media platforms that are more widely used in Indonesia is recommended to reach a broader audience.
